I decided to create all my pieces using stoneware clay. Stoneware is a highly durable, heavy-duty type of ceramic pottery. Made from dense clay and fired at extremely high temperatures, stoneware is perfect for functional kitchenware as it is naturally chip-resistant and food-safe.

I entered the pottery industry because I love crafting pieces with my hands and finding inspiration in nature. As a 16-year-old, I had to earn the funds to start a studio while balancing school, life, and my work. Now that it is summer, I am focusing all my energy on my business to establish something I can be truly proud of.
